Sonya Gill is a Television Host and the Founder and Owner of a coaching company called Youzus (coachingatyouzus.com), and currently is a freelance host with Jiggy.TV. She first began her career in 2004, after she moved to Toronto from her home town of Vancouver, where she enrolled at Seneca College to pursue Broadcast/journalism. It was mid semester when she landed an internship with CBC and truly fell in love with Broadcasting. After interning at CBC and pitching television shows with various production houses, she was soon hired as a weather reporter with the Weather Network. During her time at TWN, she was asked to compete in Miss India Canada where she was recruited at the Pageant by ATN to host a 1 hour program, 5 days a week on XM radio.
In 2008, she was recruited by BBC/Worldband Media where she was asked to host the 'Drive Home Show' that aired on HD radio in 5 cities in the U.S. After having much success with her show and feedback from her listening audience, Sonya decided her next goal was to ultimately land her own talk show. Having interviewed the likes of many well know celebrities, and political figures, she is only a few steps away from making her goal a reality.
